What: Sardar Patel University invites applications for postgraduate courses being conducted at Pramukhswami Medical College.

~ Registered MBBS graduates of MCI recognised colleges may apply for admission to the following courses to commence from May 1, 2008.

~ Three- year degree courses (MD/ MS): General Medicine, General Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Radio-diagnosis, Community Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Orthopaedics, Opthalmology, Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy, TB and Respiratory Diseases, Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pharmacology.

~ Two-year diploma course: Anaesthesiology, Radio-diagnosis, Public Health (P & SM), Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Orthopaedics, Opthalmology, Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy, TB & Respiratory Diseases, Microbiology and Pathology.

~ Two-year MSc (Medical) Course: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Microbiology.

~ 15% of seats will be filled by NRI students.

~ Prospectus along with application forms can be obtained from Dean's office at the college, in person or by post on payment of Rs 1500 in cash or demand draft drawn in the name of "Charutar Arogya Mandal (PG)" payable on any nationalised bank at Anand. Recognition status of courses offered are available in the prospectus and MCI website.

~ Last date for receipt of filled in application form: 8 January 2008

~ Entrance test at the college, at Karamsad: 22 January 2008
