~ The latter can be obtained by sending a crossed Demand Draft of Rs 500 (Rs 250 for SC/ST categories) drawn in favour of "Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat", payable at Surat with self-addressed envelope (25cm x 12cm ) affixed with postage stamps of Rs 25 superscribed on application clearly for M Tech (Research) or Ph D Programme or in person from the Academic section on payment of Rs 500 (Rs 250 for SC/ST candidate) by cash.

~ An application form with information brochure can also be downloaded from the above website and such form duly filled in must be sent with crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology" of Rs 500 (Rs 250 for SC/ST categories) payable at Surat.

~ The Last date of receipt of the completed application from (with fees in cash or DD) is December 21, 2997 up to 17:00 hrs for the M. Tech. (Research) and PhD Progarmmes.

~ Application fees are non-refundable.
