The beginning: Rohan's father, a photographer, initiated his first portfolio and sent it to several agencies. Rohan gave a screen test and was selected for an ad film. One advertisement followed another and the lad hasn't looked back since. Gradually, Rohan achieved finesse in his work. However, his interests also inclined toward dubbing and voice-overs. He tried a hand at it and, in no time, was well trained in the same.
Studies-work balance: Rohan believes a good academic background is essential for one to progress and excel in life. He makes sure he doesn't take up too many assignments so he can pay necessary attention to studies. On an average, he works for about fours hours a day.
Time-management mantra: He manages time in such a way that studies are always a priority. He follows a weekly schedule and abides by it unless his work demands too much time. When it does, he prefers to complete his studies on the sets, during breaks.
Managing exams: When exams approach, Rohan does not take up assignments, as he believes academics should not be compromised.
Skill sets developed: Rohan is thankful to his work, as it has taught him a lot. He has become more expressive on screen, and that has also helped him mature in real life. Time management skills, which are of utmost importance in today's fast-paced life, are something else he owes to his work.
Family ties: Rohan's parents are happy with his work and very proud of their son's ability to multi-task.
Future plans: After finishing junior college, Rohan plans to do his BMM and then turn to some professional institute for training in acting. He believes that is where his passion lies.
Straight from Rohan's heart: "Work hard to thrive beyond excellence in whatever you do. But in the run for success, don't forget to respect your parents. Listen to them because they are wise and know what is best for you."
