~ British Council is inviting UK designers, Andre Klauser and Ed Carpenter, and a retailer to conduct these two workshops and help create visible, tangible aspects of local cultures threatened by globalisation.
~ The primary objective of the workshops is to design a small, travel-size, representative object in a short time, easy for the public to understand and likely to yield a media-ready, photogenic series of prototypes.
