You have studied very hard for the Common Admission Test 2005.

Now, the time has come to put your effort to the test.

Here is a checklist to help you stay calm and focused on D-day.

i. Make sure you are familiar with the location of the test centre before D-Day to avoid last-minute hassles.

ii. The reporting time for CAT is 10.15 am. 

No candidate is allowed into the venue after 10.30 am. 
   
We recommend that you reach the test centre at least half an hour before the reporting time, ie by 9.45 am.

iii. Carry with you into the test centre only the following:

• Admit card
• 4-5 HB pencils (remember the tip generally breaks when you require it)
• Two erasers (one for your neighbour)
• Sharpener
• Watch

iv. The instructions in the CAT hall ticket clearly say you cannot carry a stopwatch. 

Be careful when you are carrying a digital watch as it may have a stopwatch attached and hence may not be allowed into the examination hall.

v. No cell-phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks and digital watches with built-in calculators/ memory, etc, are allowed into the test hall.

vi. Fill up the Ovals in the Optical Mark Recording sheet provided to you, so it easily legible.

vii. Ensure you fill in the Hall Ticket Number and Name slots correctly.

viii. There are normally four sets of CAT papers (all of them have the same questions).

You must enter the Test Series no and Booklet no clearly in the OMR sheet.

ix. While doing the paper, mark the answer in the OMR sheet as well as in the Question Booklet.

The Question Booklet can be taken home after the exam is over.

You will get to know what your scores will be after the end of the exam.

x. Log on to rediff.com at 6 pm on November 20 for the answers and analysis of CAT 2005.

The last and the most important thing you need to carry with you on the D-Day is your optimism and confidence.
