Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om did not only make good money at the box office, it made a lot of it in stores as well!

The film, which tied up with popular retail chain Shopper's Stop, made a whooping Rs 60 million on its clothing line in three months alone.

Speaking at an event, Fashioning Bollywood, with retail brands in Mumbai, B S Nagesh, Shopper's Stop managing director, said, "It's time fashion retailers and Bollywood joined hands and left behind any inhibition about the lack of professionalism that exists in the film industry."

In his statement he revealed that the total sale generated through the OSO line at Shopper's Stop was Rs 60 million.

"This clearly signifies the returns that can be generated through a successful association with the film industry," Nagesh stated.

During the film's release, Shah Rukh [Images] and the OSO cast strutted their outfits at a fashion show, amid much cheering.

Shopper's Stop then launched the 1970s style clothing like bell bottoms and jazzy jackets, similar to what SRK [Images] and his costar Deepika Padukone [Images] wore in the film.
