Now, Vellitherai in a theatre near you!

If you missed the Tamil film Vellitherai in any of the southern states, take heart.

Mirchi Movies Limited, the entertainment arm of Times Group, which first released the film in Tamil Nadu and the surrounding southern states, will now release the same on May 2 in other states as well like Mumbai, Pune, Goa [Images], Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Baroda.

The movie, which opened to rave reviews down south, will have English subtitles the second time around.

Mr Munish Purii, Chief Operating Officer, Mirchi Movies Limited said, 'It is our constant endeavour to reach good content to audiences across markets. Tamil speaking audiences in major markets like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata and Goa, will now get to view this immensely entertaining film on the big screen. Some of the prints will have subtitles in English for lovers of regional cinema'.

Vellitherai is co-produced by Mirchi Movies Limited, Moser Baer India [Get Quote] Limited and Duet Movies. It features the hit Mozhi pair of Prakashraj and Prithviraj, apart from Gopika, Laxmi Rai and M S Bhaskar.

This remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Udayananu Tharam is directed by Viji with music by the latest sensation G V Prakash.
