After the popular Maiya Maiya number from Mani Ratnam's Guru, Mallika Sherawat [Images] seems to have disappeared from the public eye.

 

But recently, she did find time to meet children suffering from cancer on the occasion of Rose Day. She was there at an art and crafts shop to cheer them and spend some time with them.

While some of the kids present professed their love for Mallika by saying 'I love you Mallika,' others were more hopeful by asking her to be their girlfriend!

At the gathering, Mallika also asked the media whether they missed her in the past few months or not. Too much, came the reply immediately. 

Giving her company at the event was Tara Sharma [Images].

Mallika will be seen next in the comedies, Fauj Mein Mauj and Welcome.
