QUOTE MARTIAL
|
When Subhash Ghai decides to celebrate, the entire film industry joins in. Which made October 24 an important day: it marked his wedding anniversary as well as the formation of Mukta Arts, 21 years ago. It also happens to be the day he normally announces a new film. This year, too, Ghai celebrated in style. No, he didn't talk about his next film (the suspense, on that front, continues), but he did announce the launch of a new banner, Mukta Arts International. Ghai and his brother, Ashok, partner the new company, which will produce Hindi, English and regional films, besides bringing out music albums and videos. He also released Woh Mera Chand, a book authored by his aunt Pratibha Davar. Ghai hopes to convert it to celluloid at some point. Which shouldn't be too much of a problem, considering it's yet another a rich-girl-poor-boy saga. As for how the bash went, why don't you check it out for yourself?? |
