AP: Telegu Desam trounced in Siddipet seat

Telangana Rashtra Samithi retained the Siddipet seat in the assembly bypolls when its candidate and Minister for Youth Services T Harish Rao was declared elected.
Harish Rao trounced his Telugu Desam rival and former minister C Muthyam Reddy by a huge majority of 24,827 votes. Harish Rao is the nephew of TRS founder and Union Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The Siddipet assembly seat was vacated by Chandrasekhar Rao who preferred to retain his Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat.
