Giant screens for Indo-Pak match at Advani's rally
March 23, 2004 15:11 IST
If you can't beat them, join them.
That's just what the BJP unit in Chandigarh will do to ensure crowd presence at Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani's rally on Wednesday evening.
The rally clashes with the crucial 5th one-day international match between India and Pakistan in Lahore, which is expected to be a big draw.

City unit president Yash Pal Mahajan said that a meeting was held to discuss the preparations to make the rally, which is part of Advani's Bharat Uday Yatra, a success. Hence, the party unit decided to make arrangements to show the match on two giant screens at the venue so that fans don't miss out on the series-decider.
