Karan Singh files nominations from Lucknow

Former Union minister and senior Congress leader Karan Singh today filed his nomination from the Lucknow parliamentary constituency.

Contesting from here for the first time, Dr Singh is pitted against Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Karan Singh's wife, daughter and son-in-law accompanied him. Also present was state party president Salman Khurshid and senior state Congress committee office-bearers.
