Former New Zealand [Images] all-rounder Craig McMillan [Images] alleged that the players have not been paid their dues by the Indian Cricket League (ICL) since December last year amid reports that the cash-strapped rebel league is planning to off-load players, a report in New Zealand media said.

New Zealand Herald reported that the delay in payment has left Kiwi players in the dark about their future in ICL.

According to the report, McMillan is supposed to have told that "payments from India are usually late, but they have never been this far behind."

The 32-year-old, who represented Kolkata Tigers in the ICL, is learnt to have said that they are owed a substantial amount of money by the rebel league.

"The players are awaiting the outcome of a meeting between ICL boss Himanshu Mody and board member Tony Greig in Sydney this week," the newspaper reported.

If the ICL does release players of their contracts, it could see a number of Pakistan and New Zealand players returning to the national fold.
