Senior Bharatiya Janata Party [Images] leader Arun Jaitley [Images] believes that only politicians should work as the office bearers of the state associations so that they can rescue an important event like Indian Premier League [Images] from collapsing due to security concerns.
"Karnataka has agreed to hold five matches. Likewise ICC [Images] vice-president Sharad Pawar [Images] has promised to find adequate security to hold matches in Mumbai [Images]. We have managed to relocate one of the matches in Dharmshala and Punjab chief minister Prakash Singh Badal has taken responsibility to take care of the matches in Mohali," Jaitley told rediff.com in an exclusive conversation.
Jaitley will send a committee to assess the situation in Chattisgarh, in order to host a few matches there, after Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh gives his approval for the same.
