Sachin Tendulkar [Images] has no doubts that the current Indian batting line-up is best the country has seen in One-Day Internationals but former skipper Sourav Ganguly [Images] does not agree.
Ganguly, who was one of the most successful captains of India, said the team under Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] is fantastic but not the best ever.
"They are a great side. Yes of course. [But] It's difficult to say best one-day side. We can't say all that. Of course they are a fantastic side."
Ganguly praised the team's consistent good showing in the past few months.
"Most important thing you should understand is that Indian cricket is being consistent. They have maintained the standard which is a good sign," he said in Kolkata.
Tendulkar, after hitting his 43rd century to power India to mammoth 392 for four in the third ODI against New Zealand [Images] had said the current batting line-up, of which he is a part, is the all-time best.
