Statistical highlights of the third day's play between India and Australia [Images] in the first Test, in Bangalore, on Saturday.
# Harbhajan Singh [Images] (54 off 110 balls) recorded his first half-century in India. He has five half-centuries -- three against Australia (all in successive Tests - 63 at Sydney, 63 at Adelaide and 54 at Bangalore) and one each against England [Images] and Zimbabwe.
# Harbhajan's previous best on Indian soil was 42, against Australia in the 2004-05 Bangalore Test.
# Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan [Images] recorded 80 -- India's best partnership for the 8th wicket against Australia at Bangalore, surpassing the 31 between and Anil Kumble [Images] and Parthiv Patel in 2004-05.
# The partnership is the second best at Bangalore, next only to the 84 between Ravi Shastri and Kiran More against New Zealand [Images] in 1988-89.
# Sachin Tendulkar [Images] set a new record at home -- 5,069 at an average of 54.50 in 64 Tests, outstripping Sunil Gavaskar's [Images] run-aggregate of 5,067 at an average of 50.16 in 65 Tests.
# Rahul Dravid's [Images] 51 off 104 balls (148 minutes) is his 53rd fifty in Test cricket -- his 11th against Australia.
# Laxman posted his 10th duck -- his second against Austraila in 21 Tests.
# Mitchell Johnson (4/62) produced his best bowling performance against India, bettering his 4 for 86 at Perth in January 2008.
