Rookie pacer S Sreesanth [Images] on Sunday said he had learnt the lessons from his debut Test outing in Nagpur and focused on line and length instead of mere pace in the third match in Mumbai.

"In Nagpur I was trying to bowl faster as it was my first Test. But I was told to concentrate on hitting the right spots by the team management and that is what I tried to do here," the Kerala [Images] bowler, who grabbed four English wickets for 70 runs in the first innings, said after the second day's play.

The right-arm pacer, who claimed four scalps for 95 in the first innings at Nagpur, said despite the hot and humid conditions, he enjoyed his stint in Mumbai.

"It was hard work out there. The wicket was a bit slow and it was humid too. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was really pumped up," he said.

Asked about his eyeball-to-eyeball confrontation with the rival batsmen and the wordy duels with England [Images] debutant Owais Shah who made 88, Sreesanth said it was "only light banter".

Describing the difference between the pace attacks of the two teams, he said the visiting team was trying to bowl on off-stump and extract bounce from the pitch.

"They are bowling well. They are trying to make use of their plus points," he said.

Sreesanth was philosophical about the several catches dropped by the Indians, especially those of rival captain Andrew Flintoff [Images].

"We have to take them in our stride. If a bowler can produce one wicket-taking ball, why not two. We have to take them in the right spirit and get on," he said.
