January 24, 2006 12:08 IST
India's skipper Rahul Dravid [Images] and Pakistan's stand-in captain Younis Khan were on Monday summoned by Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle after verbal volleys were exchanged by the players on the third day of the second cricket Test in Faisalabad.
The captains were let off with a warning to uphold the spirit of the game.

A highly-charged atmosphere at the Iqbal stadium saw the Pakistani bowlers, in particular Shoaib Akhtar [Images], and fielders indulge in constant chatting with the Indian batsmen in the last session of play.
Shahid Afridi [Images] was also warned verbally by the on-field umpires on a few occasions.
Pathan was singled out and often at the receiving end of what appeared to be taunting remarks by the Pakistanis, frustrated at their inability to separate the Indian sixth-wicket pair.
Pathan also approached on-field umpire Rudi Koertzen a couple of times to make his displeasure known.
