Kumble's performance in 'won' matches

Kumble played an important part in Indian victory in the Kolkata Test by picking up seven wickets in the second innings and ten wickets in the match. - Winners for predict the MOM contest
Kumble has now appeared in 31 'won' matches for India. His tally is the highest for a specialist bowler -- well ahead of Kapil Dev [Images] (24), Harbhajan Singh [Images] (18), Bishan Singh Bedi [Images] (17) and Javagal Srinath (17).
In fact only Sachin Tendulkar [Images] has made appearance in more 'won' matches for India (38) than Kumble amongst all players.
Kumble's performance in these 31 matches has been awesome. He has taken 219 wickets at an average of 18.09 with 16 five-fors and 4 ten-wicket match hauls.
Harbhajan Singh is a distant second with 102 wickets in 18 'won' matches.
