October 01, 2004 11:00 IST
Doctors and Indian team physiotherapist Andrew Leipus have adviced Sachin Tendulkar not to bat for more than ten minutes at a stretch initially, the injured master batsman said in Mumbai on Friday. "I have been advised to take gradual steps initially during practice as I have not played for six weeks and there's some muscle loss (in the left elbow). I can't just go bang bang. I have been advised to bat only for ten minutes at a stretch to begin with, and not for say two or three hours," Tendulkar told PTI. | Also Read | | |
