Punjab pile on Baroda's agony

Hosts Punjab piled up 370 for four in their second innings to consolidate their position over Baroda on the third day of the Ranji trophy Elite 'B' cricket league match in Mohali on Saturday.
Dinesh Mongia scored 108 while Pankaj Dharmani (92) and Amit Kakkar (90) shared an unbroken 184-run partnership to stretch the host's lead to 390.
Resuming at 15 for one, Punjab suffered an early set back when overnight batsman Yuvraj Singh (11) was out lbw to Irfan Pathan (senior) with the score on 28.
Binwant Singh (41) and Mongia then added 90 runs for the third wicket.
Mongia hit 15 boundaries in his innings before being caught by YK Pathan off Rakesh Patel.
