Anil Kumble got a world record against his name on the third day of Sydney Test. The wicket of Damien Martyn was the 21st caught and bowled dismissal for Kumble in his career. He has now taken more wickets in this fashion than any other bowler in Test history. Kumble was previously level with England's Derek Underwood. The accompanying table lists the leading bowlers with most caught and bowled dismissals. It will be observed that the list contains more spinners than fast bowlers.
