Gujarat-MP tie ends in a draw

The Ranji Trophy Elite group 'A' match between Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat ended in a draw with Gujarat bagging two points by virtue of first innings lead at the Motera stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
Gujarat were 124 for one in their second innings at stumps with opener Hem Joshipura remaining not out at 68 while Niraj Patel was not out on 24.
Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 242 for seven, Madhya Pradesh were all out for 280.
Overnight batsmen Brajesh Tomar scored a well-made 55 runs while Sunil Dholpure was sent to the pavilion by Ashraf Makda without adding a single run to his overnight score of 20.

Gujarat: 353 all out & 124/1 (57.0 ovs)
Madhya Pradesh: 280 all out
