December 06, 2004 22:45 IST
Karnataka seemed to be on course to record their first victory this season after reducing Andhra to 188 for six wickets in their second knock in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group A match on the penultimate day in Bangalore on Monday.
Earlier, the hosts were all out for 328 after resuming the day on 276 for six, securing a first innings lead of 91 runs over Andhra, who had made 237 in their first knock.
The visitors are now only ahead by 97 runs with four wickets in hand and have an uphill task to save the game.
