It has been a great year for the Aussies who won the World Cup for the second consecutive time and third overall. They were unbeaten throughout the World Cup.

"It is a wonderful experience," Buchanan said. "I am very proud of this Australian team that included the likes of Stephen Waugh, Glenn McGrath, Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist... the list goes on and on. They are not only great players, but great people as well."
