Newly-appointed India 'A' coach Sandeep Patil says he will coordinate with senior national coach John Wright to chalk out a gameplan for his young side's 43-day tour of England, starting June 22.

"According to a letter from the cricket board, Wright would be assisting me during the India 'A' team's camp at Bangalore, starting on Sunday," Patil said on Thursday.

"The India 'A' team consists of fringe players who will be making it to the senior team when the need be and, hence, I would like to sit with Wright and the selectors to chalk-out a policy so that the players don't have problems in adjusting to different coaches in a short period if they make it to the senior team," he added.

Patil, who was instrumental in guiding underdogs Kenya to the semi-finals of the recently-concluded World Cup in South Africa, said he is confident of his wards doing well in England, as team skipper Shiv Sunder Das, Railways' left-arm spinner Murali Kartik and Mumbai opening batsman Wasim Jaffer are already playing county cricket in England.

When asked whether the 43-day tour is too long for an 'A' side, Patil said, "I don't think so. Even in the past I have taken the Under-19 and India 'A' sides on long tours. In fact, it could be a very good experience for the lads as the next stage for them would be to play for their country.

"The most important thing is to see that the boys are moulded into a unit. Also, they must experience the highs and lows of the game so that they become mentally tough, which will hold them in good stead in future."
