Sehwag fifth Indian to miss double ton

Virender Sehwag became the fifth Indian batsman to miss a double century by ten or less runs when he was dismissed on 195 on the opening day of Melbourne Test.

He also provided the 44th such instance in Test history and sixth by an Indian.

West Indians Frank Worrell and Everton Weekes, Australia's Ian Chappell, India's Mohammad Azharuddin and England's Michael Vaughan have suffered similar fate twice.

This is the fourth instance of a batsman being dismissed in the 190s against Australia. All previous three instances involved English batsmen.
