Board of Control for Cricket in India Inquiry Commissioner D V Subba Rao, probing the bribery scandal involving Maharashtra player Abhjit Kale, sent his report to the Board on Wednesday, a day ahead of the deadline.

"I have sent the report to the cricket Board office in Kolkata by courier," Rao, also the chairman of the Bar Council of India, said from Vishakhapatnam.

"I have done my job. It is now for the BCCI to decide the next course of action," Rao said.

The report, prepared in just three days after Kale and the selectors deposed before him on November 29, will now be referred to the BCCI's disciplinary committee.

The preliminary probe into the bribery allegation was completed last Saturday with Kale and the two national selectors - Kiran More and Pranab Roy - deposing before the commissioner in Visakhapatnam.

Apart from the three, Rao also summoned the national cricket selector from Central Zone, Sanjay Jagdale, since the two selectors had written to the commission that they had discussed the issue with him.

The BBCI had suspended Kale from playing first class matches on November 21 for allegedly offering Rs 10 lakh [approximately $22,000] each to selectors Roy and More for a place in the in the Indian Test team for the tour of Australia. The two selectors gave their complaints in writing to BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya.

The Board appointed Rao as the Commissioner of Inquiry on November 21 and asked him to submit his findings within 15 days.
