Donald often reserved his best for the finest batsmen. He was primarily an inswing bowler when he first started out but he soon learnt the tricks of the trade.
He believed his finest delivery accounted for Sachin Tendulkar, a big inswinger, at Durban in 1996/97, which went through the defences of one of the world's best batsmen.
