Sachin Tendulkar said on Thursday that contrary to popular perception the dispute was not caused just because his interests were affected.
Sachin said, "I am not the only person suffering, it is a question of the team and also of the future of other players. We have all had many discussions on the subject and are still open to talks with the BCCI."
The Indian cricketers on Thursday sent a formal letter, signed by Sourav Ganguly, to BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya, repeating their offer to play in next month's Champions Trophy if their conditions were met.

India's back-up pace attack toiled without reward as their tour match against Derbyshire drifted towards an inevitable draw.
Rawait Khan, playing in just his second first-class match, was the unlikely hero, with an unbeaten 77 as the home side made their way to 228 for three at stumps in reply to India's 445 for seven declared.
Opener Steve Stubbings and Dominic Hewson both scored 66 before falling to spinners.

England's Academy director Rodney Marsh has blamed Simon Jones's breakdown with further back trouble on the decision by the England coach Duncan Fletcher to switch him back to a longer run-up.
Fletcher overruled Marsh's instructions that Jones should bowl off a maximum of seven paces in the understandable belief that he needed to double the length of his approach if he was to succeed as a Test bowler. But delight at Jones's hostile Test debut against India at Lord's, when he took four wickets and regularly touched speeds in excess of 90mph, was tempered when before the Test was through he complained of a side strain that has kept him out of the rest of the series.

Pakistan made hard work of beating Kenya by four wickets in the opening match of the triangular series in Nairobi.
Chasing just 134 to win after dismissing Kenya in 30.3 overs, Pakistan lost two wickets in the first four overs.
Further wickets tumbled before Inzamam-ul Haq and Rashid Latif saw Pakistan home, Latif hitting a six to finish the match in the 34th over of the reply.
Latif ended 28 not out off 22 balls, while Inzamam was 14 not out in an unbeaten partnership of 37 - the highest of the innings.
Pakistan captain Waqar Younis was pleased with his team’s win in the opening match of the Kenya triangular and believes they are well placed to take on Australia on Friday.
"I am feeling good. A win is always handy to start off with, but we still have a lot of work to do," said Waqar after Pakistan’s four-wicket victory over Kenya.
"Everything looks good. We are bowling well. It is just little hiccups in the batting that we have to sort out in the next few days," he added.

Former England skipper Graham Gooch believes Mark Butcher would be a worthy future England captain.
Marcus Trescothick and Michael Vaughan are thought to be the front-runners to succeed Hussain.
But Michael Atherton, Gooch's successor as England skipper, surprisingly backed Butcher to take over the role.
"I think he would be a very viable alternative for the next captain, whenever Nasser Hussain decides to pack it in," said Gooch.
"He's pretty astute when it comes to tactics. In my experience of dealing with him he's very much a thinking cricketer and on the tactical side I'm sure he could do a good job.
"From what I gather, when he's captained Surrey they have been very impressed with Mark and the way he has led the side on the few occasions he has done.
Western Province pace bowler Roger Telemachus has been withdrawn from the squad as a precautionary measure for medical reasons. "Roger will see a doctor on Friday, but as a precaution we have decided to withdraw him from the squad," said the convenor of national selectors, Omar Henry.
Telemachus' Western Province team-mate Gary Kirsten has also been withdrawn from the squad.
