India's tour of West Indies
Leg-spinner Dinanath Ramnarine grabbed three wickets as India were struggling to avoid an embarrassing follow-on after the second day against a Busta XI side on Saturday.
India were 73 for seven at the close of play in their three-day match in reply to the local team's first innings 437, still needing 215 runs to not bat again with left-hander Dinesh Mongia at the crease on a streaky 25 and Sarandeep Singh on one.
New Zealand's tour of Pakistan
Experienced opener Saeed Anwar has been ruled out of Pakistan's two-match Test series against New Zealand following questions over his fitness.
"The Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) medical panel feels Anwar needs to train regularly for a period of three to four weeks before achieving the form and fitness required to play international cricket," a PCB press release said.
The announcement rules the left-hander out of the Test series which starts in Lahore on Wednesday.
Sri Lanka in England
Sri Lanka recovered from a poor start to reach 375 all out on day two of their first tour match against Kent at Canterbury.
Mahela Jayawardene was the star, hitting a sparkling 119 from just 134 balls.
He shared in a thrilling partnership of 151 with the veteran Aravinda de Silva, playing against his former Kent teammates, for the fourth wicket which resurrected Sri Lanka after a poor start.
Aravinda, who has not appeared in Tests for Sri Lanka since March last year, eventually fell for 63 but that didn't stop the Sri Lanka middle-order making hay.
Miscellaneous
South Africa's selectors will be replaced by a four-man panel within the next two weeks as part of the major changes being made by the United Cricket Board of South Africa (UCB).
UCB chief Gerald Majola said the newly formed National Cricket Committee (NCC) would make a recommendation after the country's nine provinces had made nominations for the panel.
The NCC, which includes former Test players Andrew Hudson, Craig Matthews, Omar Henry and Pat Symcox as well as Haroon Lorgat and Imraan Munshie, will also review the structure of the national management team.

The "Dickie Bird" timepiece will keep time over the West Stand.
The clock is in recognition of the service he gave to the Yorkshire county cricket club where he played in the 1950s.
Mr Bird said: "I am so pleased, delighted and thrilled to be honoured in this way."
