    Leg and Leg!

Every camp generates its favourite phrase. 'Leg and leg' is the buzzword, for this particular one. A term the guys use when they are tired, and have had a hard day in the field.

It is a word the Indian probables use all the time, these days.

"The guys have been pushed out of their comfort zones," Leipus says, mildly.'Jolted out of their slackness' could be a better way of putting it, but then Leipus is the polite sort.

"Everyone is doing something all the time. You won't see any of us standing idle -- we would if we could, but we aren't allowed to," comments one of the lazier players. "In earlier camps, we could do a bit and then hide -- not now."

Working out all the time "Tough maan, bloody tough, I'm leg and leg!" gasped another, after a strenous workout. It has a comical side to it, but the players are too tired to see it just now. The laughter will come much later, at the end of the day's activities, when they get back to the team hotel and can stretch out a bit.

Nothing is too minor to escape the attention of the coach. Breakfast, thus,is now served at 7.30 am. Which is fine. But in earlier camps, you would find players trooping in for a bite when they felt like it, individually or in twos. Not any more -- Wright has decreed that breakfast is a team affair, and must be had together, no exceptions, no way.

"Whether you are hungry or not, you have to eat breakfast together," moans one of the younger lads, a twinkle in his eye countering the mournful look he tries on.

"It is a good thing for the young ones in particular, they need a tough master," comments a senior player who overhears this.

    One for all...
