Delhi cops re-arrest JVG group chief in Delhi

Vijay Kumar Sharma, chairman and managing director of the JVG group of companies, was re-arrested today in New Delhi after being released on a personal bond of Rs 100,000, police said today.

Sharma, who had been eluding police for a long time, was arrested in Bombay yesterday.

Sharma was arrested for allegedly defrauding thousands of investors all over India and collecting Rs 5.85 billion by floating 17 companies.

So far 600 investors had lodged complaints against the JVG group of companies.
